Country Singer Randy Travis Critically ill after Surgery

Singer Randy Travis is now out of surgery in Texas Hospital. He was suffering in a stroke. Still now the situation is critical and he is not out of danger.

Randy Travis was hospitalized in three weeks before Wednesday. But on the day he suffered the stroke during the time of being treated for congestive heart failure.

The country singer was hospitalized at Baylor Medical Centre at McKinney, Texas. Travis was suffering from presumptive Cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. Dr William Gray said this about him.

Randy, 54, was transferred to the Heart Hospital at Baylor plano in Texas due to his bad physical condition. After the surgery the doctors has implanted a device in his heart. It will help to flow the blood of the country singer.

Travis was performing in Detroit in June 28 and 29. He had a show in Deadwood, South Dakota. But before that the event taken place.

In this diseases a virus attack in the muscle of the heart. As a result the heart can’t work properly and heartbeat gets slower.

Randy’s song ‘three wooden crosses’ was awarded as the song of the year in 2003. Earlier he was an active member of ‘Traditionalist Movement’ in 1980s and 1990 decades.
